Aaron Milik, born and raised in Iowa, had a vision—to create a place where people could come and enjoy a quick bite to eat, a few cocktails and each other’s company. Sure, there are a lot of pubs in the Metro, but how many will let you doodle on the bar?  (With chalk, that is.) And don’t forget about their patio!

In 2007, Milik and his business associate sat down with a couple of local brews and started to make their dreams come true. Now, GoodSons, established in 2008, has become a landmark right in the heart of Beaverdale.

When you ask a frequent GoodSons patron what brings them back again and again they answer quickly and bluntly, “Panini.”

GoodSons isn’t your typical burger-and-fries eatery. They have a wide selection on their menu, which includes their most favorite dish, the Chicken Pesto Panini— with grilled chicken breast, basil pesto, roma tomato and mozzarella. If you want a little bacon in your diet, you can’t pass up the Bacon Ranch Panini with grilled chicken breast, applewood bacon, ranch dressing, roma tomato and mozzarella. For the carnivore in you, try the Muffeletta: a Panini with ham, salami, roast beef, creole mayo, roma tomato and kalamata olive pesto. And their newest creation is bound to make waves across the metro—the GoodSon's Dog— it’s HUGE!

GoodSons has quite the variety of beverages. From wines to wells, shots and beer, GoodSons has a drink for everyone. With more than 12 beers on tap and more than 50 bottles/cans (many from local breweries), you can enjoy a lifelong favorite drink or try something new. You also must try their Smoked Wings prepared with GoodSons’ own BBQ sauce, to get your weekend started the right way.
